Job summary

AutoNation's service departments rely on skilled Service Advisors to bridge technicians and customers, explaining recommendations in clear terms and spotting up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

In this role, you’ll manage appointment prep, greet customers, assess needs through walk-arounds and test drives, prepare transparent estimates, and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion, all while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to meet or exceed targeted sales goals and CSAT scores.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with technology and learn automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and CSAT targets.
• Greet customers warmly when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs via walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan for maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates with transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Build product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
