Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and service technicians in our state-of-the-art departments. You’ll explain technician recommendations in clear terms, while identifying up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and customers satisfied.

You’ll schedule appointments, help prioritize maintenance, and produce transparent repair orders with estimated costs and times. A background in customer service and a drive to work with technology are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & CSI.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner upon arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-around.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Prepare repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff for timely work.
• Follow up to inform and ensure customer satisfaction.
