Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge Service Technicians and customers in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art service department. You will explain technician recommendations in clear terms and identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and customers satisfied.

You will guide customers through appointments, assist with cost and time estimates, and collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion while delivering an exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Exceptional customer service experience is essential.
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers warmly on arrival and determine vehicle needs.
• Explain technician recommendations in plain language and suggest upsell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and maintain transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and overall satisfaction.
• Build product knowledge to better assist customers and drive loyalty.
