Job summary

Sames Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to efficiently assist customers with repair and scheduled maintenance requests, consult on needed services, and review root causes with customers during vehicle delivery. You will maintain repair records, promote labor and parts, and uphold exceptional customer service throughout the service process.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to estimate costs, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Two years sales experience preferred.
• Estimating experience and evaluative diagnostic capabilities are helpful.
• Identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements; work well under deadlines.
• Administrative skills for record keeping for customer vehicles.
• Good customer relations, polite and courteous; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of labor and parts.
• Promote and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain good working relationships within the Service Department and other dealership departments.
• Process after-hours drop-off vehicle information and greet customers.
• Provide written estimates for labor and parts; communicate ETA to customers.
• Record repair orders and monitor progress; notify customers of completion.
