Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join our nationwide service network. You’ll act as the go-between for technicians and customers, explaining recommendations in clear language and identifying up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

Based in our California shop, you’ll set and confirm appointments, estimate costs, and coordinate with parts and technicians to ensure timely work. A strong focus on customer experience and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience skills.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience.
• Explain Service Technician recommendations to customers in clear language and suggest upsell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates with full transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and inform as requested.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
