Job summary

Servco Kona seeks a Service Consultant to welcome customers at the dealership, determine required services, and explain the work needed to ensure timely completion.

You will interact with technicians to clarify service details, provide cost estimates, and obtain customer approval. Responsibilities include booking repair orders, tracking progress, and coordinating loaner vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• General mechanical knowledge gained through work or education.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and determine which vehicle services are needed.
• Liaise between technicians and customers to explain work required.
• Inspect customer records and assess if additional services are needed.
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain approval.
• Book and close repair orders promptly and monitor status.
• Arrange loaner vehicles if needed and follow up on back-ordered parts.
