Kia is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join its service team. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, coordinating maintenance and repairs while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting issues, preparing repair orders, and communicating estimates and timelines. Experience in automotive service and strong communication skills are essential for success at Kia.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in automotive customer service preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Proficient with dealership management systems and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally on arrival.
• Document vehicle issues and service requests accurately.
• Prepare repair orders with detailed descriptions.
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on inspections.
• Communicate estimates, timelines, and recommendations clearly.
• Obtain customer authorization before additional work.
• Coordinate workflow with technicians for timely repairs.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to customers.
• Review repairs with customers and explain services performed.
• Ensure orders are accurate and properly documented for warranty and billing.
