Job summary

Cavender Auto Group is seeking a confident, customer-focused Service Advisor to serve as the trusted link between customers and the service team. You will greet customers, understand needs, explain maintenance, and guide decisions to ensure exceptional service experiences.

You will build relationships, document details, and coordinate with technicians to move repairs forward while maintaining clear communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Build relationships with customers and establish trust throughout the service experience.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and ask questions to understand vehicle symptoms and service needs.
• Obtain and document detailed customer and vehicle information.
• Inspect and evaluate customer concerns and communicate findings to the service team.
• Explain recommended maintenance and repairs, including cost and rationale.
• Present recommendations confidently to help customers decide on work.
• Identify additional maintenance opportunities based on vehicle condition and guidance.
• Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and documentation.
• Set clear expectations for timing, communication, and completion.
• Keep customers informed and manage changes or delays in the service process.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to support workflow.
• Review completed repairs with customers in a clear, professional manner.
• Follow up after service to address concerns and future needs.
