Cavender Auto Group in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a confident, customer-focused Service Advisor to be the trusted link between customers and the service team. You will greet customers, uncover needs, explain recommendations clearly, document details, and move the service process forward.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advisor or related customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate automotive maintenance and repair needs.
• Ability to confidently present recommendations and explain associated costs.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians and other dealership departments.
• Ability to use dealership technology and computer-based tools.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work a dealership service schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Build relationships with customers and establish trust throughout the service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle information.
• Inspect and evaluate concerns and communicate findings to the service team.
• Explain recommended maintenance and repairs, including costs.
• Present recommendations confidently and help customers decide on needed work.
• Coordinate with technicians, parts, dispatch, and management to support workflow.
• Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and documentation.
• Keep customers informed and follow up after service to address concerns.
