Job summary

Winrock Automotive Group in Arkansas is seeking a professional service advisor to act as the liaison between customers and service technicians. You will schedule appointments, collect vehicle data, greet customers, and document issues in the repair order.

You will prepare written labor and parts estimates, manage promised times, obtain customer authorization, and communicate progress. Reynolds and Reynolds experience is preferred; dealership background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as service advisor or related position.
• Knowledge of service processes to advise customers.
• Advanced computer skills, Reynolds and Reynolds.
• Understand confidentiality and follow work rules, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and obtain customer and vehicle data.
• Greet customers and obtain vehicle information.
• Write up repair orders accurately and clearly.
• Test drive the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm problems.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.
• Provide written cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Establish promised times and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Close repair orders and update customers on progress.
