Job summary

Winrock Automotive Group in Arkansas is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Service Advisor to bridge the gap between customers and service technicians, ensuring accurate vehicle data and clearly written repair orders. Responsibilities include scheduling service, greeting customers, detailing repair needs, preparing labor and parts estimates, tracking progress, and communicating changes.

Qualifications

• Work experience in service or related field; 2+ years’ experience as service advisor or related position, dealership experience preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge in the area of service to advise customers.
• Advance computer skills, specifically in Reynolds and Reynolds.
• Understand the importance of confidentiality and following work rules.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments; obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner; obtain vehicle information.
• Write up customer’s vehicle issues accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Test drive the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem.
• Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establish promised time; notify dispatcher of changes as needed.
• Obtain customer’s signature on repair order and explain charges.
• Review repair orders to ensure work is completed; close orders when appropriate.
• Explain completed work and all charges to customers; maintain high customer satisfaction.
