Amerisure Insurance Company is hiring an Auto Physical Damage Manager to lead the APD function within Commercial Claims. This role requires translating strategy into priorities, developing leaders, and serving as the primary APD contact for designated agency partners.

A hybrid schedule 2 days on-site is expected in one of our Florida offices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial auto PD claims, prior people leadership, and strong collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial auto physical damage claim experience, including complex claim handling and technical oversight.
• Prior people leadership experience required.
• Experience managing agency or customer escalations and cross-functional claim matters preferred.
• Industry designation such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA or similar professional development preferred.
• Strong service orientation with the ability to build credibility and manage relationships with high-profile agency partners and internal stakeholders.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical matters to varied audiences.
• Proficiency with claim systems, estimating platforms, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day performance and service delivery of the Auto Physical Damage function within Commercial Claims.
• Translate departmental strategy into operational priorities and develop leaders and team members.
• Serve as primary APD point of contact for designated agency partners and coordinate with Auto General Liability leadership.
• Monitor inventory, cycle time, quality, severity, expense and service indicators; identify trends and take corrective action.
• Ensure consistent application of APD procedures, authority, vendor programs and quality expectations.
• Address significant service concerns, escalate when needed, and coordinate resolution across Claims.
• Anticipate partner needs and recommend improvements to enhance agent and policyholder experience.
• Build relationships with Underwriting, Loss Control, Legal, SI, agencies, and vendors.
• Participate in business planning, budgeting and workforce planning.
• Promote controls, escalation and handling of complaints, litigation, fraud indicators and regulatory matters.
• Identify and lead process improvements to increase quality and efficiency.
