Job summary

Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company in Irving, TX is seeking an Auto Physical Damage Manager to lead the APD function within Commercial Claims. You will translate strategy into priorities, develop leaders, and ensure timely, technically sound claim outcomes.

Primary APD contact for high‑profile agency partners, collaborating with Auto G/L leadership on shared files. The role emphasizes managing complex claims, guiding the team, and delivering a coordinated service experience with a 2‑day hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or related field.
• 5 years commercial auto physical damage claim experience, including complex claim handling.
• Prior people leadership experience required.
• Experience managing agency or customer escalations and cross-functional claim matters preferred.
• Industry designation such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee APD claim operations to promote accurate coverage analysis and timely resolution.
• Provide direction on complex, high-exposure APD matters and determine when Director involvement is needed.
• Monitor inventory, cycle time, quality, severity, expense and service indicators and identify trends.
• Ensure consistent application of APD procedures, authority levels and vendor programs.
• Serve as a primary APD contact for agency partners and build trusted relationships.
