Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company seeks an Auto Physical Damage Manager to lead the APD function within Commercial Claims. This role translates strategy into priorities, develops leaders, and delivers timely, technically sound outcomes for high‑profile agency partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial auto claims plus leadership experience, with strong collaboration and communication skills to drive cross‑functional results. Hybrid work is available with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of commercial auto physical damage claim experience with complex handling.
• Previous people leadership experience is required.
• Experience managing escalations and cross‑functional claim matters preferred.
• Industry designation such as AIC/CPCU/SCLA or similar preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead day‑to‑day performance and service delivery of the APD function.
• Oversee APD claim operations for accurate coverage analysis and timely resolution.
• Provide direction on complex and high‑exposure APD matters.
• Monitor inventory, cycle time, quality, severity, and expenses.
• Ensure adherence to APD procedures and vendor programs.
• Build trusted relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Loss Control, Legal, and others.
• Participate in budgeting, workforce planning and process improvements.
