Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This role will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, driving excellent service for both retail and professional customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with Spanish language skills highly desired to assist a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by participating in interviews and coordinating with management.
• Ensure calls, orders, and transfers are processed timely and accurately.
• Perform day-end procedures, banking, and security checks; maintain store appearance and equipment.
