Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during the Store Manager’s absence and opposing shifts, guiding team members to deliver outstanding service.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role includes staffing, interviewing, training, processing transfers, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Experience leading retail teams and providing customer service.
• Ability to hire and train staff and manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling during peak hours and holidays.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of team members with management.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers promptly and notify customers of shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, security, and store maintenance.
