Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of customer service for retail and installer customers. You will support store management in tasks and communicate with customers over the phone and in person.

The role includes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, handling cash transactions, exchanges, returns, and participating in stock and planogram updates. Occasional vehicle delivery may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Handle cash drawer, accept payments, issue change, and process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, planograms, inventory counts and shipments to distribution.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed and approved.
• All other duties as assigned.
