Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high‑level service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management, greet customers, look up parts, quote prices, and promote company service programs. You may handle cash, returns, and daily stock tasks, as well as in‑store services and occasional deliveries.

You will join a team that values accuracy, courtesy, and efficiency, with opportunities to grow through training and performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g. Hi‑5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Promptly greet retail/walk‑in customers and assist them in merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone, including price lookups and quotes.
• Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer and process transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit following company policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stock and housekeeping tasks.
• Perform various in‑store services and, when needed, drive deliveries per business needs.
