Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. The role supports store management and enhances customer satisfaction through product knowledge and efficient operations.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, answer phone inquiries, handle transactions, and participate in inventory and planogram updates. Training and occasional deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support professional customers and installers as needed.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and promote related items.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer; process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Process returns for credit per policy and resolve complaints.
• Assist with stocking, audits, and planogram updates; perform daily operational tasks.
• Operate store equipment after training and fulfill in-store services when allowed by state laws.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
