Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers and support store management.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with parts selection, handling transactions, and performing daily operations. Training, customer programs, and professional customer support are emphasized to drive sales and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Follow and promote all customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist professionals as needed and directed by management.
• Complete relevant company training for the position.
• Provide excellent service to store calls and quote prices when needed.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions accurately.
• Process exchanges/returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with image maker and planogram updates, stocking and merchandising.
• Perform daily store operations, stock checks, and inventory tasks.
• Operate test equipment after training and company approval.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries, lighting) as allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
