Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in achieving tasks. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and collaborate with managers and installer specialists to serve professional customers.

Responsibilities include cash handling, returns, complaints resolution, and in-store services as allowed by law.

• Ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers—retail and installer customers—in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with serving professional customers.
• Process cash, checks, and card transactions securely and accurately.
• Handle exchanges and returns per company policy and provide quotes to customers.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with store maintenance: stocking, image updates, planogram updates, and inventory counts.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., battery tests, wiper installs) where allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
