Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership, and bilingual candidates are encouraged.

The position emphasizes leading teams, handling returns and transfers, and ensuring proper invoicing and security procedures. A pace-driven environment with opportunities for growth is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• RSS Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase order ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before product leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedule and proper clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures and bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
