O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also carries shift management duties when managers are absent.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills across diverse customer bases.
• RSS Certification is required or obtainable.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge and basic repair concepts.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execute on service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders promptly and notify customers of shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure returns are processed with proper refunds and filing.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before shipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to team members.
• Adhere to posted schedules, with deviations approved by management, and supervise clock-ins/outs.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
• Handle any other duties as assigned.
