Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management responsibilities in the absence of management, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills.
Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise showroom customer service standards and related programs.
Answer telephone per company policy.
Process buy online/ship to store, hub/store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
Invoice all merchandise, core charges, and warranties before shipment.
Communicate Zipline messages and manage merchandising tasks.
Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
Perform opening/closing duties and day-end money procedures; secure deposits.
All other duties as assigned.
