Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, service, and operations. The role may involve shift-management in the absence of supervisors and encourages bilingual applicants.

Responsibilities include leading the team to deliver excellent customer service, managing show-room operations, processing transfers and orders, handling returns and invoicing, and performing opening/closing duties with attention to security and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair is a plus.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages, esp. Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer telephones according to company policy and process orders and transfers timely.
• Handle buy online/ship to store, hub/store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Process special orders and outside purchases; manage returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and monitor adherence to the work schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Maintain proper secure area for deliveries and handle all other duties as assigned.
