Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Michigan is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations, including shift management in their absence.

You will lead team members to provide excellent service to retail and professional customers, support in-store programs, handle transfers, inventory, opening/closing duties, and ensure smooth daily operations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom across programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Process online orders, transfers, and ship-to-store activities promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges with appropriate refunds.
• Invoicing for merchandise and core charges before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clocks in/out and adheres to schedules.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
