Job summary

NAPA Counter Sales associates are the face of our retail stores, helping customers with auto parts and expert advice. You will assist both retail and wholesale customers, answer questions, and ensure a positive in-store experience.

Ideal candidates bring parts knowledge, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. Valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; automotive enthusiasm is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast paced retail environments.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions at the counter/over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members in answering customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions in the store.
• Engage with customers to provide a positive consumer experience.
• Utilize computer, cash register, telephone, and catalog systems.
