Job summary

NAPA stores seek a Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail location, helping customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone. You will draw on parts knowledge to assist colleagues and ensure a positive, energetic store experience for every visitor.

You should enjoy fast-paced retail, have a willingness to learn automotive parts, and demonstrate strong communication and listening skills to support customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts.
• Customer-focused with strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Help teammates answer customer questions using parts knowledge.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and engaging service in-store.
• Assist customers to ensure a positive consumer experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate POS, inventory/catalog tools, and other store systems.
• Support with inventory and general store operations as needed.
