Job summary

NAPA is seeking a Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail stores, helping customers with auto parts and providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities include answering questions, assisting team members, and delivering a positive consumer experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior automotive interest or experience is a plus; training and growth opportunities are available within the NAPA family.

Qualifications

• Genuinely enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast paced retail environments and strong listening skills.
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions in the store.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced store.
• Welcome customers into the store and engage to provide a positive experience.
• Use technology (computer, cash register, phone) and catalog system.
