Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more experience in casualty claims.
• Licenses are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum two years’ casualty claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims, directs independent adjusters and vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers.
• Manages litigation to align with jurisdiction and company policy.
• Assists Claim Manager in exposure identification and recommended solutions.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable payout based on file developments.
• Monitors insurance carriers and reinsurers for file reporting thresholds.
• Alerts management to changes in laws impacting liability programs.
• Updates field personnel on claim status as requested.
• Supervises outside vendors and experts assisting investigations.
