Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree and/or two years’ casualty claims experience.
• Two years or more experience in casualty claims.
• Licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims, directs independent adjusters and vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers, and claimants.
• Manages litigation to align with jurisdictional requirements.
• Assists in exposure identification and recommends solutions.
• Manages indemnity and expenses.
• Communicates with carriers and reinsurers on applicable files.
• Updates management on claim status when requested.
• Supervises outside vendors and experts used in investigations.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable payout based on developments.
