Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Liability Claim Representative II to handle property damage claims and low to mid-range bodily injury claims.

The role requires careful investigation and adjustment of claims, coordination with field teams, and oversight of vendors and experts. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of casualty claims experience, knowledge of coverage contracts, and a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in casualty claims.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs vendors.
• Interacts with field management, legal, safety, customers, carriers and third party claimants.
• Manages litigation per jurisdiction to ensure proper handling.
• Assists in identifying exposures and recommending solutions.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable payout based on file developments.
• Oversight of outside vendors and experts assisting investigations.
• Alerts management to changes in liability laws impacting Ryder.
• Updates field personnel on claim status as requested.
