Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Liability Claim Representative II to handle property damage and low-to-mid range bodily injury claims in the United States.

You will investigate, adjust, and direct independent adjusters and vendors while coordinating with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, and insurers. In this role, you will manage litigation, identify exposures, set appropriate reserves, and monitor claim progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or two years’ casualty claims experience.
• Licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs independent adjusters, experts, and vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers, and third party claimants.
• Manages litigation to ensure claims are handled according to the applicable jurisdiction.
• Assists Claim Manager in the identification of exposures and recommends solutions.
• Recommends and sets reserves to ensure the reserves reflect probable payout based on file developments.
