Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Liability Claim Representative II to handle property damage claims and low to mid-range bodily injury claims. The role involves investigating and adjusting claims, supervising vendors, and coordinating with carriers and legal counsel in a dynamic corporate environment.

You will support the Claim Manager, monitor exposures, and ensure reserves reflect probable outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Experience handling property damage and low-to-mid range bodily injury claims.
• Strong claim technical skills and understanding of liability coverage.
• Ability to supervise vendors and coordinate with carriers and legal counsel.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs independent adjusters and experts.
• Interacts with field ops, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, and insurers.
• Manages litigation in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Identifies exposures and recommends solutions to Claim Manager.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable ultimate payout based on file developments.
