• Interacts with field ops, management, legal, safety, customers, insurers, and third-party claimants.
• Manages litigation to ensure compliance with jurisdiction.
• Assists Claim Manager in exposure identification and recommendations.
• Manages indemnity and expense costs.
• Coordinates with primary/ excess carriers and reinsurers on thresholds.
• Alerts on legal changes impacting Ryder's liability program.
• Updates field ops on claim status as requested.
• Supervises outside vendors and experts involved in investigations.
• Recommends and sets reserves based on file developments.
