Job summary

Safelite Group in Grand Rapids seeks an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee to join our hands-on training program. You will learn to install/repair auto glass, recalibrate safety systems, and complete certification to become a Safelite-certified Technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• Willing to learn Safelite processes and safety standards.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass and recalibrating safety systems.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools in daily work.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to PPE policies.
