Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to train and become a proficient auto glass technician. You\'ll learn on-the-job and in classroom settings, earn Safelite SafeTech certification, and gain skills for glass repair, replacement and recalibration.

During training you will observe, assist, and practice with tools, vehicles and safety systems, with opportunities for promotion based on performance and completion of the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Complete training and pass Safelite SafeTech certification.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
