Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. is seeking a Technician Trainee in Rochester to join our auto glass service team. You will undergo paid training, observe and assist with installations, and work toward Safelite certification.

A positive attitude and strong customer focus are essential as you learn to deliver high-quality glass repairs and replacements. You will handle safety calibrations and use diagnostic tools while upholding company standards for service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing as needed.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals used during the workday.
