Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to join our training program. You will learn hands-on and in the classroom, observing and assisting with auto glass repair and replacement, plus recalibration of safety systems.

You will study and test to become a Safelite-certified Technician, while safely operating company vehicles and tools during the workday. Competitive pay begins at $20.25/hour with raises to $24/hour after training and certification, plus a comprehensive benefits package and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
