Job summary

Safelite Group in Kalamazoo is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. You will be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training, progressing toward Safelite SafeTech certification while performing glass repair, replacement and recalibrations under supervision.

The role offers a structured training path, competitive weekly pay starting at $20.25/hour, rising to $24/hour after certification, with benefits and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Assist with recalibrations and diagnostic testing of safety systems.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools during the workday.
• Adhere to all safety policies and standards.
