Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. seeks a Technician Trainee to train as a Safelite SafeTech certified auto glass technician. You will learn hands-on and in classroom settings, observe installations and repairs, and recalibrate safety systems to ensure high-quality service.

You will receive paid training, tools, and resources, plus a benefits package with 401(k), medical plans, PTO and holidays. After certification, pay increases and extra incentives are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency with reading and following technical directions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing/repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems; perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
