Job summary

Safelite in the United States is seeking a Technician Trainee who will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will learn through hands-on and classroom training, with Safelite SafeTech certification upon completion.

During the program you’ll observe and assist with glass repair and replacement, recalibrate safety systems, and gain skills to perform jobs to Safelite standards while providing excellent customer service. The position includes paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state driver's license required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observing and assisting in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems and performing diagnostic testing.
• Providing additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and Standards.
