Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to train and become an auto glass technician. Upon completion, you earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and develop skills for glass repair, replacement, and recalibration with quality and customer service in mind.

You will learn hands-on and in-classroom methods, observe installations, and work toward becoming a certified technician while benefiting from a strong benefits package and tuition assistance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma GED/Equivalent preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
