The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to compliance as you support a fast-paced collections team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional phone presence.
• Understanding of collection laws, including the FDCPA.
• At least one year of consumer collections experience in a high call-volume environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing friendly, professional support.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or create payment plans.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting performance goals.
• Keep detailed notes on all interactions and actions.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers when needed.
• Review accounts for repossession following policy and mitigating factors.
• Work toward department goals by reducing delinquency and ensuring compliance.
