Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claim Representative, Auto Damage in Minnesota to support customers and third-party claimants through the claims process. You will investigate and evaluate claims to ensure accurate payments while explaining policy options clearly to insureds and claimants.

Qualifications

• Two years auto claim handling experience.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement, handling low to moderate complexity cases.
• Evaluate policy terms to determine coverage, liability, and damage; negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities for thorough damage assessments.
• Document findings in claims system and maintain accurate claim activity records.
• Determine settlements based on appraisal estimates and convey settlements to insureds/claimants.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
• Acquire and maintain relevant Insurance Licenses within three months of start.
