Job summary

Travelers in the United States is hiring for an Auto Damage Claims Representative. You will support customers and third-party claimants through the auto claims process, explaining policy coverage while investigating and evaluating claims to ensure accurate payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two years auto claim handling experience preferred.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement, including multi-vehicle cases.
• Evaluate and analyze policy terms to determine coverage, liability, and damage; negotiate settlements.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities for accurate damage assessments.
• Document findings in the claim management system and maintain records of activity.
• Determine settlements within authority; issue necessary correspondence to insureds and claimants.
• Provide timely communication to customers, representatives, and internal stakeholders.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tool rollouts while maintaining productivity.
• Acquire and maintain relevant Insurance Licenses within three months of starting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
