Travelers in North Carolina is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto Damage to support customers and third-party claimants through the claims process. You will evaluate coverage, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with appraisal teams to ensure timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of auto claim experience, an active adjuster license where applicable, and strong communication skills to explain policy terms and provide exceptional service throughout the claim lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of auto claim handling experience.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management systems with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and enterprise technology systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions.
• Exceptional customer service throughout the claim process.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement.
• Evaluate policy terms to determine coverage, liability, and damage.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams and repair facilities.
• Document findings and maintain records in claim management systems.
• Provide timely communications to insureds and claimants.
• Adapt to technology upgrades and AI tool rollouts.
• Maintain required insurance licenses within three months.
