Job summary

Puget Collision seeks an experienced DRP writer and auto body estimator to drive profitability and quality. You will inspect vehicles, prepare comprehensive repair plans, and ensure estimates align with OE and DRP standards. Strong insurer relationships and precise documentation are essential for success.

You will coordinate with customers, insurers, and shop staff to deliver timely repairs, accurate final bills, and compliant paperwork across all stages of the repair process.

Qualifications

• I-CAR Pro-Level 1 certification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of DRP writing experience.
• Strong relationships with insurance providers are essential to success.
• Knowledge of metal and refinish replacement/repair techniques.
• Proficiency with Mitchell and CCC estimating systems, ERAC, and DRP management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with coworkers, customers, and insurance representatives.
• Strong organizational skills for repair planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs while delivering exceptional service.
• Create accurate repair estimates and plans after vehicle inspection.
• Identify prior damage via pre-scan photos and notes.
• Ensure adherence to OE standards, DRP guidelines, and proper calibrations/ADAS scanning.
• Maintain accurate final bills, supplements, and customer authorizations.
• Communicate repair process, insurance claims, and delivery timelines to customers.
• Scan and file all documents in CCC One, manage calendar and DRP portals daily.
• Build relationships with DRP, fleet, and dealer partners to meet performance metrics.
