Job summary

Westlake Services, LLC is seeking a Charged-Off Collector in Agoura Hills, CA. Manage and collect on charged-off accounts, negotiate settlements, and locate customers through skip tracing. Strong communication, teamwork, and knowledge of FDCPA required. This is an on-site role with base pay and performance bonuses.

You will contact customers, negotiate plans, and maintain detailed records while meeting daily targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skip-tracing background to locate customers and collateral.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and written skills with a professional, goal-oriented attitude.
• Flexible availability – overtime and weekends as needed.
• Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection laws (FDCPA).

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to arrange payment solutions and bring accounts to resolution.
• Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances while meeting daily and monthly goals.
• Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers, vehicles, or leads.
• Maintain accurate records of account activity and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with team members to support department goals and share case information.
• Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure confidentiality of company operations and customer information.
