Westlake Financial seeks an Account Manager II in Collections for credit cards to manage delinquent accounts, perform skip tracing, and negotiate settlements. You will contact customers by phone, work toward bringing accounts current, and handle a high-volume call environment.

The role requires 3+ years in backend subprime collections, with preferred auto collections experience and a strong knowledge of FDCPA. A flexible schedule, MS Excel/Outlook skills, and negotiation ability are essential.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of backend subprime collections experience.
• Auto collections experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal collections laws, including the FDCPA.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Team player and strong negotiation skills; excellent telephone etiquette.
• General knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook; web navigation.

Responsabilidades

• Collect accounts that are 3+ payments past due.
• Bring delinquency down in the assigned queue.
• Call customers that are past due and perform skip tracing to locate delinquent accounts.
• Make payment arrangements and negotiate to bring accounts current.
• Handle high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment.
